    1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

    2 1/4 cup flour

Ingredients: 3 loaves

1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
2 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
4 bananas
12 ounces sour cream
1.5 teaspoons vanilla
1.5 teaspoons cinnamon
.375 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
3 1/3 cups flour

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Spray or grease loaf pans.

  • Mix smaller amount of sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Sprinkle into greased pans and shake to spread evenly.

  • Beat remaining sugar and butter together in a large bowl or an electric mixer until smooth. Add mashed bananas, sour cream, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon. Continue to beat until well mixed. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined. Do not over mix. Divide batter evenly into the loaf pans. Optional: sprinkle chocolate chips.

  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, for about 55 minutes to 1 hour.

  • Enjoy! We like to warm it in the toaster oven.
